Tom Bannink

I am a PhD student at CWI and QuSoft under the supervision of Harry Buhrman and Frank den Hollander. I received my bachelor degrees in mathematics and physics at Utrecht University (2013) and a masters degree in theoretical physics (2015). My research focusses on Quantum Walks, a quantuntum mechanical analogue of classical random walks. I am interested in the algorithmic applications of quantum walks and want to understand when quantum walks can provide computational speedups.
